Yeah, the biggest book store on the Internet also sell tons of different women’s thigh high boots. I feel like showcasing some of the more expensive thigh high boots today, so here we go!

The next pair I want to show you are thigh high leather boots from Pleaser. To be honest, I don’t like them that much, but I wanted to give you an option if you are looking for low heel thigh high boots.

I actually think these look better when you have the top folded down, like on the picture below.

Of course, this is just my opinion, but when you have flat heels and a very high boot than it can look a bit masculine. Ok, over to some hot over the knee boots that I just adore! These are very much like the boots above, that I don’t like, but these are with high heels. Just look at the difference.

Aren’t they just way more sexy, and still over the knee boots that you can wear to just about any occasion? As I mentioned above, in this post I focused on the more expensive thigh high boots, and these cost around $100. Not bad when you consider how good the look. Check out the product page here.

Ok, enough Amazon for today. Are there any other new thigh highs worth mentioning? Hmm…ohhh yeah! I just can’t get enough of Victoria’s Secret’s over-the-knee collection. They are extremely affordable when you consider how sexy these boots are. There are just so many boots available on the Internet, but you have to do some searching to really find them. As I have said, the top results are almost always for the stripper thigh highs, and most women aren’t looking for that.

I was over at Amazon, and I have mentioned them before in Cheap Thigh High Boots, and was pretty amazed by their collection. If you do a search for “thigh highs” or “thigh high boots” you will get tons of results; 591 results in my case. Not all of them are boots, but it just shows that the assortment is pretty big. Prices range from $38 and upwards, and there is something for everyone.
 

I just have to show a pair that I think are just fantastic.

These discount thigh highs cost only $38, and the best part is that they can be used for just about any occasion. They don’t look tacky or slutty, which many thigh highs do, and at that price you can sign me up…that’s for sure. Another pair I found that are just gorgeous are the Charlotte01 women’s thigh high dress boots. As you might have noticed I am very much for the more “conservative” thigh highs. “Conservative” as in “not looking like a street hooker”, even though I don’t have anything against the WOMEN that are in that occupation…I just don’t like the OCCUPATION (an important difference).
 

There are a lot more sexy discount thigh high boots over at Amazon, and who were we to know that an online book store would be the place to go for sexy clothing? Wow, how the world changes…

Too tight thigh high boots

If you look at what women are saying online, through reviews and comments about the boots they have bought, you will often see that they complain about the boots being too tight around the thigh or calves. I would suspect that many of these are normal women with normal bodies. In other words women that don’t really fall under the category plus size, whatever the term plus size actually means. You might suspect that some brands are better at making comfortable thigh high shoes than others. The problem is that if the boots are too tight around your thighs and give you a pinching feeling, you probably won’t wear them for long.

Thigh high boots for wide thighs

One of the first things you should look for, specifically, is that the boots are labeled “wide legs”. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they are plus size, just that they are made with a wider thigh area, mostly for esthetical reasons. These will most likely be more comfortable than the tight sitting, over the knee boots.

You can also look for shops that specialize in plus size shoes. You probably won’t find a shop that does plus size thigh high boots alone, because the market simply isn’t that big, but the more generalized shoe shops should have an assortment of boots that might tickle your fancy.

Feel beautiful – Be beautiful

On a side note, this topic is really important to me, because I think many women don’t wear over-the-knee boots because they are over-conscious about their bodies. I am not going to try to talk you in to wearing boots like this, but you have to remember that beauty has little to do with your body, and a lot to do with your mindset. If you think that you are beautiful, and walk down the street with a pair of thigh highs with confidence, other will think you are beautiful too. It’s the law of attraction in practice, what you think about yourself is what you project out to the world, and ultimately how others will see you too.

Stretch is also a word you should look for. Thigh high boots that have stretch in them, or some kind of leeway through lacing or buckles should also be more comfortable for plus size thighs. Some boots have sown in an area on the side that has stretching capabilities, which means that the rest of the boot can be in leather that doesn’t stretch without the boots being too tight.

What are the style options for plus size thigh high boots? Pretty much the same as for normal thigh highs.

These boots reach the knee and are build with or without a platform sole.

Ladies thigh high boots

In absence of a better term, ladies or womens thigh high boots are the boots you can wear to work, on the street and to just about any event. They are usually do not look “stripperish” or cheap.

Pleaser thigh high boots

These are the boots you only wear for special occasions like parties or a night out on the town. Pleaser thigh highs are often very tight, and has leather that shines, bordering to the style of the mother of all over the knee boots, the sexed up “stripper” thigh highs.

Stripper thigh highs

These were the original thigh length boots, popularized after Irwing Claw used them for the costume of a woman in his erotic photographies in the 1950’s. This category of shoes often have laces, buckles, often made in vinyl or plastic. These are the boots you might not want to wear when visiting your mother in law, but can be great fun for the bedroom.

The fashion industry – only for the skinnies?

As you see, there are many options and alternatives. But like with any other clothes, you probably have to look a little harder to find the plus size variants. Unfortunately, it seems the fashion industry is mainly geared toward supergirl bodies, in other words bodies that are extremely rare if you look at the big picture. But don’t give up, because here is the number one tip you can use when you are out shopping for plus size over the knee boots.

Return policy!

Try to find a shop that lets you return the shoes if you are not satisfied. That way you can order the shoes, walk around with them inside (don’t wear them outdoors or you probably won’t get your money back), get a feel for them, and if they turn uncomfortable you can send them back. Remember, just trying them out in the store for 5 minutes won’t tell you whether they will start to irritate you after a days worth of wear.

If you are looking for “cheap” boots as in sexed-up, cheap, than this isn’t the post for you. I am talking about affordable boots that literally anyone has the resources to buy. Just wanted to make that clear, as most of the results you get up when searching for cheap thigh high boots are for those “stripper”, plastic-fantastic, spandex styled, boots. Nothing wrong with those, if that’s your thing. Many of them look fantastic anyway if you mix them up with clothes that break away from the stripper style.

Victoria Secret has some stunning high thigh boots that are really affordable. They have a burgundy leather pair that are just gorgeous, and might become my favorite thigh highs. At only $99 they are a complete bargain. These are a MUST check out! They only bad thing is that with the low price you might run in to someone on the street with the same boots, but I guess that is a small price to pay for paying a small price..errr. Yeah!

Believe it or not, the super book store sells cheap thigh high boots, and I mean CHEAP. I have looked through much of their collection and there are a lot of stylish pairs that I would gladly buy. Prices start as low as $38 last time I checked, so there is pretty much something for everyone there.

Hot Topic

I don’t know much about this shop, but last I visited them they had a couple of affordable thigh highs that looked, well, ok. Might be a tad freakish for my tastes, but I will go back and check if they are a place worth visiting.

Just found this shop, and they have a nice collection of boots. Many of them are only semi-thigh high. But the prices are quite affordable, so they are worth a visit.

First a bit of background, thigh high boots, or thigh boots, as the name implies are boots that extend above the knees and up to the thigh. There are also other synonyms that mean the same, like over the knee boots (OTK boots) and thigh length boots, but you will know what I mean when I am talking about it, because that is all this site will be about.
